It is a sad day in the Bird and Co Creative office… well for Craig anyway! It’s only taken Vicky 2 years but she’s done it. We are replacing our trusted red book and job sheets, with a new management software system.
Old Faithful - The Red Book
It was by no means an easy decision, not one to be taken lightly, as the red book has been by Craig and Vicky’s side since day one of Bird and Co. Every job that has come through our doors, telephone lines and emails, as been booked in and assigned a dedicated job number. To date we have 1673 jobs assigned in the red book.
The journey began a long while ago (back before many of the bird team joined the nest) Craig, Vicky and Nick began looking at Management software to help with the day to day running of the office. Many to choose from, some were discounted from the start; others did well until falling short at Nick and Vicky’s requirements.
And, then there was Traffic
Described as the No 1 management software specifically designed for creative companies. There was only one thing to do, a demo session with the team.
After many, many questions, answers and much discussion between the team, it was agreed that it was the way forward. Traffic will allow us to book jobs in, its helps schedule and assign jobs in the studio, track job progress, create time sheets and so much more.
So here we are about to start a New Year with new management software installed.
