Bird and Co would like to congratulate Jonjo O’Neill and the rest of the team at Jackdaws Castle on winning the Grand National with “Don’t Push It“.
We are currently redesigning and developing Jonjo O’Neill Racing’s website and I had the privilege of being invited to the welcoming home party at the yard in Cheltenham. “Don’t Push It“ wore his Grand National Winner’s rug with pride and looked very proud of his high profile success. “Don’t Push It“ lives with six Jacob sheep away from the yard as he can be quite disruptive to the other horses so it was really pleasing to see him behaving himself surrounded most of the morning by the press and tv cameras.
AP McCoy also attended the party with his wife and daughter and was still grinning from ear to ear with his achievement of eventually ridding a Grand National winner. My family and I travelled from Bromsgrove to the party and Charlie my youngest son was so pleased to meet his hero AP McCoy. AP very kindly sent him a birthday card last month so Charlie was desperate to meet him and say thank you, then Charlie asked AP if could come round for tea some time. A great day was had by all and a day that everyone will remember forever.
